Controller and contact
Who is responsible for your information
Aquerim LTD (“Aquerim”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
Aquerim LTD131 Blackthorn Road, Didcot, England, OX11 6EPEmail: aquerim.privacy@outlook.comCompany number: 17324357What this beta is
A fictional example and a research form
This website displays an example Aquerim report created using synthetic and anonymised example information. It is a feedback beta only.
Please do not submit confidential business information, deal documents, financial information, or personal information about yourself or anyone else through the feedback form.
Information we collect
Only what is needed to understand the feedback
When you submit feedback, we collect:
- Your responses to the five feedback questions.
- Your email address, only if you choose to provide it.
- Whether you agreed that Aquerim may contact you about your feedback.
- Any referral code and UTM campaign information in the link used to reach the site.
- The date and time of your submission.
To protect the form from misuse, we also process a short-lived, hashed identifier derived from technical request information. We do not store raw IP addresses in the feedback record.
Analytics and performance
Aggregate usage and Web Vitals without analytics cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate use of the public website. For each page view, Vercel may process the event time, page path, referring website, approximate location, device type, operating system and browser information.
We also use Vercel Speed Insights to measure real-world website performance. It processes the page route, connection speed, browser, device type, operating system, country, Web Vital measurements and the page element associated with a performance measurement. Vercel states that these data points are anonymous and are not stored in a way that identifies a visitor or reconstructs a browsing session across pages.
Aquerim removes query strings and page fragments before Web Analytics or Speed Insights data is sent. We do not send feedback answers, email addresses, contact-consent choices, referral codes, UTM campaign parameters, report content or other form contents to either service. We do not use custom analytics events.
Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Vercel identifies a visit using an anonymous hash derived from the incoming request and automatically discards that visitor session after 24 hours. Speed Insights reads performance measurements from native browser APIs and does not place cookies or use persistent browser storage. On the current Vercel Hobby plan, the dashboard provides a one-month Web Analytics reporting window and a seven-day Speed Insights reporting window. Vercel may retain service data for longer than the period visible to Aquerim.
Why we use it
Improving and securing this limited beta
We use feedback responses, referral information and campaign information to understand how people experience this beta report and to improve it.
We rely on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve this limited beta, including using aggregate Web Analytics and anonymous Web Vital measurements to understand which public pages are used and whether they perform well. We only use your email to contact you about your feedback where you have separately opted in. For that contact, we rely on your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time through the published privacy-contact address: aquerim.privacy@outlook.com.
We process verified withdrawal requests within 30 days. We remove the contact data and consent attached to matching submissions. Non-identifying feedback may remain until its normal expiry where it is lawful for us to retain it.
We do not use feedback submissions to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who processes it
Hosting and storage suppliers
We use service providers that process information on our behalf:
- Vercel, which hosts and delivers this website and provides privacy-focused aggregate Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
- Supabase, which stores feedback submissions.
Vercel may process limited technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website. In our current hosting configuration, Vercel runtime function logs are retained for up to one hour. We do not intentionally write feedback answers or email addresses to those logs.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Our suppliers may process personal information outside the UK. Where this involves a restricted transfer, we will use an appropriate UK GDPR transfer mechanism and safeguards. You can contact us at aquerim.privacy@outlook.com for more information.
Retention
Feedback is kept for up to 180 days
Feedback submissions are retained in the live database for up to 180 days. Expired submissions are deleted by a daily automated process. Short-lived anti-abuse records are deleted after 48 hours.
If you withdraw consent to contact you, we will stop using your email for that purpose. Once we have verified the request, we process it within 30 days. Contact data is removed, while non-identifying feedback may remain until its normal expiry where lawful. We may retain the minimum information needed to ensure we respect the request.
Deletion from the live database may not mean immediate disappearance from provider backup copies. Backup availability and recovery windows depend on the provider plan and configuration, and any restored data must be subjected to the same retention and completed-withdrawal controls.
Read the Supabase backup documentation.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion and objection
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the use of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw contact consent at any time.
To make a request, email aquerim.privacy@outlook.com.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
We will update this notice if the beta changes. If we intend to use information for a new purpose, we will update the notice before doing so.
